This natural history museum in the center of Moscow was established in 1907 by A.F Kots.
It aims to provide an ‘exciting visual experience’ for visitors, teaching them about genetics, natural variation and adaptations. There are around 400,000 exhibits, and over 50 temporary exhibitions are held here annually. See the Walk the Path of Evolution exhibition, which traces 400 million years of natural history, with lots of interactive elements.
